This post is about online image reviews, a free service the Office of Career Services offers to all MC students. An online search is one of the many ways an employer will decide who would be most suitable for their position. All MC students should give consideration to having an online image assessment completed before they apply for any positions.
An image review will help you remove any negative results that occur following a Google search of your name. An online image review will also show you how to use the internet to network and be the first to show up in a search of your name. Employers can see various results from websites such as Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace through a Google search.
Career Services can help you create a cleaner online image with positive search results. Be sure to schedule an online image review before applying for a job! Remember, 77% of employers will Google an applicant's name!
